Different insoles are available for Protector Forest 2.1 GTX red-yellow to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Protector Forest 2.1 GTX red-yellow has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Protector Forest 2.1 GTX red-yellow to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

The Protector Forest 2.1 GTX red-yellow can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.

The Protector Forest 2.1 GTX red-yellow is equipped with a cut protection. This means that you can safely work with chain saws that have a running speed of 24 m per second.

You can now attach spikes to the new, extremely non-slip sole of the Protector Forest 2.1 GTX, for example to provide more grip on felled tree trunks. We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Protector Forest 2.1 GTX red-yellow is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Er sitzt stabil, gibt perfekten Halt auch in unebenem und sehr steilen Gelände und ist gleichzeitig überraschend bequem – selbst nach 10 Stunden im Einsatz keine Druckstellen, kein Brennen. Die Verarbeitung ist top: robuster Lederaufbau, solide Nähte, griffige Sohle – man merkt, dass hier Qualität und Sicherheit an erster Stelle stehen. Besonders überzeugt mich die Balance zwischen Sicherheit und Flexibilität – ich kann mich frei bewegen, ohne dabei auf Schutz zu verzichten. Ja, der Preis ist mit rund 305 € nicht ohne – aber jeder Euro ist hier gut investiert. Man bekommt echte Profiqualität, auf die man sich in jeder Situation verlassen kann. Ein Schuh, der hält, schützt und dabei auch noch bequem ist – für mich ganz klar jeden Cent wert. Fazit: Wer ernsthaft im Wald arbeitet und auf seine Füße achtet, wird mit diesem Schuh rundum zufrieden sein. Ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen – mein neuer Lieblingsschuh im Forst!

Ein toller Schuh mit einem kleinen Manko
Habe den Schuh für Arbeiten im Wald gekauft. Bin super zufrieden damit. Auch längere Wanderungen habe ich damit schon absolviert, ohne Probleme. Das einzige Manko was ich gefunden habe ist, das der Schuh auf der Rückseite keine Schlaufe als Anziehhilfe hat. Das stört mich leider jedes mal beim Anziehen. Ansonsten ein top Schuh.

Stabiler Stand, für mein Empfinden bieten Sie einen guten Halt. Die GTX mid sind etwas beweglicher am Fußgelenk, deshalb eventuell für Maschinenarbeiten eine gute Wahl. Durch diesen stabilen Schuh, der etwas höher geht, steht man sehr fest im Schuh. Ist ideal für anspruchsvolles Gelände.

Die Haix Schuhe schon lange im Feuerwehrdienst....?? Und was soll da beim Forstschuh anders sein.....?? Einfach nur zum weiterempfehlen.... Einmal die Größe ermittelt, dann kann man bei jedem Model die gleiche Schuhgröße nehmen.....

Stabiler Forstschuh der hält was der Haix verspricht
Ich habe mir den Schuh für alle Arbeiten im Wald und für die Jagd gekauft. Bisher habe ich ihn noch nicht sehr häufig getragen, aber der Tragekomfport und der Halt den er dem Fuß gibt sind sehr gut. Einzig nach langem Tragen (über 4 Stunden) habe ich eine leichte Druckstelle am oberen Rand der Zunge am rechten Schuh gemerkt, das kann aber mit der Schnürung zusammen hängen.

Sehr stabiler Schuh, lässt sich gut tragen, ist auch beim durchgehen von kleinen Bächen wasserdicht, gute Bodenhaftung im Steilhang. Spikes könnten besser über die gesamte Sohle nicht nur im Steg verteilt sein.

Sehr guter Schuh passt wie alle schnittschutzschuhe von haix die ich bis jetzt hatte sehr gut mit den spiks besseren halt auf Baumstämme würde keine anderen kaufen da ich mit dem genau so zufrieden bin wie mit den Vorgängeren fünf daumen hoch ?????

Toller Schuh
Der Schuh trägt sich sehr angenehm und man hat stets das Gefühl gut geschützt zu sein. Die Möglichkeit Spikes einzudrehen hat mich zudem zu dem Kauf dieses Schuh bewegt, da es auf feuchten Stämmen auch schnell mal rutschig werden kann.

ROBUST, SICHER und BEQUEM
Ich habe mir den Schuh für die Jagd gekauft. Mit den Hunden durch die Dornen, unwegsames Gelände durch Bäche und Schlamm, alles kein Problem. Ich habe immer das Gefühl sicher und bequem aufgehoben zu sein. Klar der Schuh wiegt ein wenig aber für die Sicherheit die er mitbringt ist dies zu vernachlässigen! Bis jetzt mehr als zufrieden!
