Different insoles are available for Protector Forest 2.1 GTX orange to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Protector Forest 2.1 GTX orange has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Protector Forest 2.1 GTX orange to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

The Protector Forest 2.1 GTX orange can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.

The Protector Forest 2.1 GTX orange is equipped with a cut protection. This means that you can safely work with chain saws that have a running speed of 24 m per second.

Your Protector Forest 2.1 GTX orange can be perfectly combined with the optionally available Grip + Spikes mounting set. The set consists of a two-part assembly spanner and ten small spikes. You can now attach spikes to the new, extremely non-slip sole of the Protector Forest 2.1 GTX, for example to provide more grip on felled tree trunks. This is not possible with its predecessor Protector Forest. What’s more, the new Protector Forest 2.1 GTX has an all-round rubber edge strip which provides even more stability and protection against abrasion.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Protector Forest 2.1 GTX orange is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Good boots but it’s not £11.50 postage
Boots are great but wouldn’t buy from haix direct again not if you live in the uk, use a uk store instead. It says £11.50 delivery which is acceptable but once they are posted you get an email from UPS who demand £55.88 for delivering them so if you buy any boots on hear add on an extra £55!

Sehr robust!
Die Schuhe sind sehr robust, geben festen Halt und haben die notwendige Schnittschutzklasse sowie leuchtende Optik! Zu bemängeln ist nur, dass sie am Anfang sehr schwer zu binden sind, da sehr steif.

Mega guter Schuh 5 Sterne von mir.
Hab mir diesen Schuh bestellt da wir viel im steilen Gelände arbeiten. Schuh ist auch nach 8 Stunden im Holz noch sehr bequem und man hat eine Mega Standfestigkeit. Deswegen 5 Sterne von mir gewohnt Haix Qualität.

Top Schuh auch im Baum
Als Baumpfleger bist du auf den Komfort im Baum und am Boden angewiesen, dieser wird Eindrucksvoll geliefert. Bin Beeindruck ! Ja der Zungenschaft ist anfangs etwas steif , gibt sich aber nach einigen Tagen. Ist auch bei Bergschuhen so, ist halt Leder.

Sehr guter Schuh, der eingetragen werden will
Der Schuh ist für den Einsatz im Forst sehr gut geeignet und bringt die notwendige Robustheit mit! Am Anfang kann ich aber empfehlen gepolsterte Ski-Socken zu tragen. Der Schuh ist steif wie ein Stein bis eingetragen ist und verursacht sonst Druckstellen am Schienbein. Nach dem eintragen ist dies weg!
