Introduction

Legislative Decree No. 82 of May 27, 2022, transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 17, 2019, on the accessibility requirements for products and services.

Guidelines on the accessibility of services, in implementation of Article 21 of Legislative Decree No. 82/2022 Version 1.0 dated 26 March 2024.

The decree was published in the Official Gazette (General Series No. 152 of 01-07-2022) and came into force on July 16, 2022, but its provisions will be effective from June 28, 2025.

HAIX Schuhe Produktions und Vertriebs GmbH is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with May 27, 2022, No. 82, which transposed Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 17, 2019, on accessibility requirements for products and services. This accessibility statement applies to the websites haix.it

Description of the service

Status of compatibility with the requirements

The website haix.it are partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of UNI EN 301549:2018 (WCAG 2.1) due to the cases of non-compliance and/or exceptions listed below. HAIX Schuhe Produktions und Vertriebs GmbH is conducting together with its suppliers an analysis aimed at making the necessary interventions to make the sites in question accessible and compliant with the standard.

Non-accessible content

The following content is not accessible because it is not compatible with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:

  • On almost all pages there are images without captions. It is difficult to navigate to the images with screen readers.
  • There are links without link text on single pages.
  • On many pages, the contrast between text and background is too low.
  • There is no title on single pages.
  • No language is stored in the HTML on single pages.
  • There are form fields without a label on almost all pages. It is difficult to navigate to the form fields with screen readers.
  • On almost all pages there are buttons without labelling. It is difficult to navigate to the buttons with screen readers.
  • On single pages there are headings that have no caption or contain the aria-hidden attribute and are therefore not accessible to screen readers.
  • There are invalid aria attribute values on almost all pages. These are not recognized by screen readers and are therefore not output correctly.
  • On almost all pages, a parent element lacks the appropriate child elements. This can confuse screen reader users because content is expected but none is there.
  • On several pages there are elements with the Aria-hidden attribute that can be focused at the same time. This makes these elements accessible to assistive technologies, even though they should be hidden.
  • There are interactive elements on a page whose name is not part of the labeling. This makes it difficult to control the website using voice control.
  • On many pages there are elements whose Aria ID occurs several times. This makes it difficult to navigate the website with screen readers.
  • There are lists on several pages that contain elements that do not belong in lists. As a result, the lists may not be output correctly by assistive technologies.
