Your questions, our honest answers
Different insoles are available for XVENTURE GTX to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.
By the way: "Made in Europe" is not only a promise of quality for us, but also stands for good working conditions, equal opportunities, sustainability and corporate responsibility.
The XVENTURE GTX is an all-season model, so it can be worn both in summer and winter. The shoe is breathable and waterproof thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane. With the help of our Climate System, moisture is transported from the inside of the shoe to the ventilation openings. This prevents sweat from accumulating, especially in the warmer months.
The XVENTURE GTX defies both colder and warmer temperatures.
The XVENTURE GTX can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.
The uncomplicated XVENTURE GTX ensures long-lasting enjoyment of the shoe's quality.
Thanks to the two-zone lacing of the XVENTURE GTX , the lacing can be quickly fixed and the shoe can be optimally adjusted to the foot. The lacing is first adjusted and fixed in the instep area and can then be variably adjusted in the shaft area. This combination provides support and stability.
The XVENTURE GTX can be put on and taken off quickly and easily, so that the focus can be fully on the work.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the XVENTURE GTX is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Ich habe einen sehr guten Halt und muss keine Angst haben auszurutschen auch nasse Füße hatte ich bisher nicht. Die Sohle kommt mir etwas steif vor, aber vielleicht gibt sich das mit der Zeit noch, wenn ich noch ein paar mehr Kilometer gelaufen bin.

Ich bin begeistert!
Hatte mir diesen Schuh im Frühjahr gekauft um ihn Mitte August für einen Ausflug in die Finnmark zu tragen. Einlaufen mit Funktionssocken war recht angenehm, der Schuh hat an sich schon eine gute Passform. Im Flieger war es echt erträglich, keine im Schweiß stehende Füße. Beim Hiking durch die steinige Landschaft Nordnorwegens war es eine Freude diesen leichten Schuh zu tragen. Durchwaten von Bächen oder bis zu den Knöcheln im glasklaren See zu stehen- ebenfalls kein Problem, die Stiefel sind dicht. Ich kann diesen Stiefel wirklich für solche Touren empfehlen. Übrigens sehen diese Stiefel auch super cool aus! Falk

Ich habe einen sehr schamlen Fuß, dass die meisten Schuhe mir zu breit sind, dass ist bei diesem Modell garnicht der Fall, ist gut zu schnüren, es ist ein fester Schuh mit einem sehr guten Halt!

Sehr passgenauer und bequemer Schuh, dazu noch leicht. Schnürung manchmal etwas hackelig, dafür aber sehr gut sitzend. Bin auf die Haltbarkeit gespannt.

Die beiden rückgesetzten Schnürsenkelaufnahmen vor Beginn des Schaftes wollen die Senkel oftmals nicht richtig einrasten lassen - ansonsten nur zu empfehlen.

Die Passform des Schuhs ist optimal, leider hatte ich nur Anfangs Probleme mit dem Fersenbereich, da dieser Anfangs zu hart war, nach 3mal tragen was das Problem jedoch gelöst und der Schuh wurde am Fersenbereich weicher.
