The Protector Light 2.1 has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Protector Light 2.1 to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

The Protector Light 2.0 is equipped with cut protection class 1, while the Protector Light 2.1 has cut protection class 2. There are no other differences.
The only difference between the two models is the cut protection class.
The Protector Light 2.1 was developed primarily for tree felling with work machines. The leather lining is ideal for providing ample breathability.
You can wear the Protector Light 2.1 optimally in logging machines or for lighter work.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Protector Light 2.1 is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Besonders überzeugend sind Schnittschutzklasse 2, die robuste Zehenkappe, extrem stabile Schnürhaken sowie die langlebige Sohle, die bei jedem Wetter zuverlässig greift. Trotz ihrer Stabilität sind die Schuhe leicht, verlässlich wasserdicht ganz ohne Membran und erstaunlich haltbar – auch die Nähte halten bestens. Weil das sehr leichte Schuhe sind werden sie mir bei Frost auf Dauer zu kalt. Mein Wunsch an Haix wäre daher ein Winterschuh mit den Stärken des Protector Light 2.1 – aber schwerer, zwiegenäht, komplett aus starkem Leder, mit Schnittschutz, Geröllschutz und Zehenkappe, den bewährten Haix-Haken und einer guten Gummisohle.

Ich habe wirklich viele Schuhe von 100 EUR bis 400 EUR ausprobiert. Dieser war dann mein Favorit. Hier ist das Leder und die Schnürung sehr hochwertig. Das anziehen sehr bequem ohne Mühe. Der Schuh an sich nicht so klobig. Wirklich der Ideale Schuh für mich.

Tragekomfort -nach ein paar Stunden Eintragen- gut. Bindung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn man sonst S3 Arbeitsschuhe trägt. Tolle Polsterung- Gewicht okay - Sohle macht soliden Eindruck. Dauereinsatz steht noch aus.

Am Anfang Knüppel hart und nach kurzem Tragen super
Am Anfang war das Leder Knüppel hart und klobig und man glaubt der Schuh kann nicht bequem sein. Aber nach kurzem tragen passt sich der Schuh gut an und wird weich. Auch das binden geht dann viel einfacher. Vorsicht bei der Größe. Ich hab regulär Schuhgröße 42-43 u d brauche sonst bei Stiefeln immer 44-45. Nicht bei haix. Hier brauche ich wirklich nur die 43. Toller Schuh robust und bequem. Den Schnittschutz hab ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Mach ich aber auch nicht . ?

Einfach Gut
Habe den Schuh bereits seit 4 Jahren im Einsatz, und bin immerwieder erstaunt was er alles mitmacht. Der Schuh bietet einen sehr stabilen Stand und einen guten Sohle, auch auf nassen Baumstämmen bietet er verhältnismäßig viel Grip. Ist Wasserdicht auch nach längerem Einsatz >10h. Zuletzt muss er dies beim NovaRock Festival unter Beweis stellen, wobei er dauerhaft unter Schlamm begraben war. Mit ein bisschen Pflege, lassen sich auch keine Ermüdungserscheinungen feststellen. Das einzige Problem das ich damit habe, sind dass die Schnürsenkel des öfteren ihren Mantel verlieren. Habe meiner Frau die selben Schuhe gekauft ->endlich warme Füße ?. Kann diesen Schuh mehr als weiterempfehlen, für mich der optimale Arbeitsschuh.
