Different insoles are available for Missoula 2.0 to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Missoula 2.0 has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Missoula 2.0 to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. The Missoula 2.0 is an all-season model, so it can be worn both in summer and winter. The shoe is breathable and waterproof thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane. With the help of our Climate System, moisture is transported from the inside of the shoe to the ventilation openings. This prevents sweat from accumulating, especially in the warmer months.
The Missoula 2.0 defies both colder and warmer temperatures.
The Missoula 2.0 can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.
The uncomplicated Missoula 2.0 ensures long-lasting enjoyment of the shoe's quality.
Thanks to the two-zone lacing of the Missoula 2.0, the lacing can be quickly fixed and the shoe can be optimally adjusted to the foot. The lacing is first adjusted and fixed in the instep area and can then be variably adjusted in the shaft area. This combination provides support and stability.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Missoula 2.0 is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Auch steiles Gelände war sowohl bergauf als bergab kein Problem für den Stiefel. Wichtig ist den Stiefel ordentlich in Ruhe zu schnüren, dann gibt's auch keine Blasen. Das Gewicht ist auch sehr angenehm, im Vergleich zu meinen Standard Stiefeln Fire Flash Pro deutlich leichter.

Die Missoula Stiefel sitzen sehr gut am Fuß und lassen sich gut an den Fuß anpassen. Der beste Sitz am Fuß, den ich bisher bei einem Feuerwehrstiefeln gesehen habe. Die Stützfähigkeit im Fußgelenk ist sehr hoch, dennoch ist der Tragekomfort ähnlich einem Bergstiefel der Kategorie C. Kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die durchgehende Schnürung; da keine Schnellbindeösen vorhanden sind, ist eine aufwendigere Schnürung ab dem Spann notwendig.

Perfekt um im wirklich rauhen Winter-und Arbeitsumfeld sicher und trockenen Fußes unterwegs zu sein. Der Schuh macht alles mit. Das Veloursleder ist im Vergleich zum Glattleder etwas aufwendiger in Reinigung und Pflege.

Sehr guter Stiefel
Perfekter Tragekomfort. Gutes Schnürsystem, ohne nervige Schnellverschlüsse. Der Schaft und auch die Sohle haben beide genau die richtige Steifigkeit, um gut zu unterstützen aber die Bewegungsfähigkeit nicht einzuschränken. An dem Stiefel ist eigentlich nichts zu verbessern.

Bequem und sehr gut verarbeit
Der HAIX Missoula 2.0 ist hervorragend verarbeitet. Keinerlei Produktionsfehler sind erkennbar. Die Stiefel sind sehr bequem und passen sich durch die Schnürung hervorragend an den Fuß an. Durch die kleinen Kniffe kann der Schuh ebenfalls bequem wieder ausgezogen werden. Das Easy Slip Out System, also eine verstärkte Hacke hilft beim raustreten, lösbare Laschen in der Mitte lassen den Schuh schnell öffnen. Dies ist natürlich auch zum anziehen sehr praktisch. Der Stiefel ist soweit sehr zu empfehlen.
