The Connexis Safety+ GTX low has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Connexis Safety+ GTX low to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
Firstly, the fascia tape incorporated in the Connexis Safety+ GTX low is an important feature. This stimulates the fasciae in the foot and thus prevents fatigue. Secondly, the new orthopaedic design follows the natural shape of the foot, making it even more comfortable to wear.

The Connexis Safety+ GTX low can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.
The uncomplicated Connexis Safety+ GTX low ensures long-lasting enjoyment of the shoe's quality.
Fascia is basically a packaging tissue that sits beneath the skin. It is a fascinating network of connective tissue which essentially ties everything together. Fasciae give our body a shape and act as a binding mechanism.
Without fascia, our muscles would not be able to tense. They would resemble a semi-liquid jelly.
A tape runs through the shoe, enveloping the tarsus. When you put the tape on, it puts pressure on the fascia in the bottom of your foot. The trigger points in the insole provide additional impulses. Basically, this is similar to training with a fascia roller.
Tight fasciae are loosened and the musculature is stimulated.
Thanks to the robust upper material and the innovative sole design, the CONNEXIS Safety+ models are also suitable for outdoor use. The CONNEXIS Safety series, on the other hand, is only suitable for work that is carried out indoors.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
The DIN EN ISO 20345 standard is an European standard for safety footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class S3 is now further divided into safety classes S3S, S3L, S7, S7S, and S7L.
From experience, the Connexis Safety+ GTX low is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Einen halben Stern habe ich abgezogen, da obwohl allen Anzeichen nach der Schuh genau meine Größe hat, es hinten an der Ferse etwas mehr Halt sein dürfte. Ich laufe viel bei der Arbeit, da ich den Schuh aber für den Sommer gekauft habe und aktuell noch mit dem Stiefeln unterwegs bin steht eine Langzeitbeurteilung noch aus.

Passt wunderbar und die Fußzehen haben unter der Schutzkappe genug Bewegung - kein Schmerz, weil die Kappe enorm eng sitzt. Der Fuß insgesamt fühlt nach 10h Arbeitstagen noch gut an. TOP! Habe diese Schuhe bestimmt 6 Tage die Woche, ca. 12 Stunden pro Tag, an. Tragekomfort und Bequemlichkeit wie bei allen Haix-Schuhen einfach genial. Auch die „Verschlusstechnik“ hat sich noch nie gelöst. Der einzige Nachteil ist das die „Lippe“, wo man das Schuhband drunter verstecken muss, nach ca. 7-8 Monaten ausleiert und man dann ständig auf das Schuhband tritt. Ansonsten aber ein fast perfekter Arbeitsschuh…
